I specialise in preparating "borderline" pupils for the Kent Tests and offer:
a no-obligation consultation to discuss your child's needs;
a full assessment in Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning before accepting a child for tuition;
advice about which areas will need "boosting" and where parents can help their child;
weekly verbal updates and monthly written reports on progress; information about how you can support your child;
a professional, courteous and reliable service.

There is no "best" time to begin preparing for the Kent Tests, but commencing early in primary Year 5 gives time for me to identify and work on weaker areas of maths, and to prepare as thoroughly as possible for the verbal and non-verbal reasoning tests, which your child will take in September of Year 6.
Whenever possible, therefore, I begin the tuition cycle each November for Year 5 children, giving them approximately 10 months of preparation.
Lessons are normally held weekly, but in the case of some children, fortnightly sessions may be appropriate.
It is also possible to have "school holiday only" sessions for children who just need a "top-up", particularly in VR and NVR.
